Ryan H. Pfaff, Esq.

Ryan received his B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies with a minor in Arabic from the University of Toledo in 2013.  He earned his JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2016.  While at UC he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Immigration and Nationality Law Review and the President of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Group.  In 2015, he interned with the Executive Office for Immigration Review at the Cleveland Immigration Court.  Ryan handles cases involving Immigration, Domestic Relations, and Personal Injury.  He has been with the firm since July of 2016.

Maria Rodriguez Alonso

Maria Rodriguez Alonso has been working as a Bilingual Legal Assistant since February 2014. She is originally from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She moved to the West Chester area in grade school. She graduated from Lakota West High School in 2007. As an immigrant herself, she feels it is a personal calling to work in immigration law. Maria has done volunteer work at Su Casa Hispanic Center, Women Helping Women, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She volunteers as an English/Spanish interpreter in the community as well. When she is not working she loves to spend time with her 4 boys.

Amy Highfill

Amy began her career at Abdallah & Spring in April 2016, and is a bilingual legal assistant at both our Centerville and West Chester, Ohio offices. Amy is currently pursuing her JD at the University of Dayton School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with honors, and a second degree in International Affairs with honors, along with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Security Studies from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. While at UC, Amy served as the Treasurer of Model U.N. from 2009 through 2012.

Amy is fluent in both written and spoken Spanish having previously worked as an interpreter for medical providers.

Through her educational and professional background, Amy is passionate in her support of those in need of legal advocacy, particularly the immigrant community. A graduate from Middletown High School in 2008, she enjoys reading, rock climbing and spending time with her family.

Margaret MacGregor, MPA

Margaret “Maggie” MacGregor has been with the firm since October 2011. She serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Paralegal. She earned her Masters in Public Administration with a focus in Public and Non-Profit Management from Ohio University in 2019. She also received her B.A. in Liberal Studies from Wright State University in 2010. In addition to her academic achievements, Maggie studied with the famed comedy theater, The Second City in Chicago. In her free time she enjoys writing, podcasting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Krystal Moreno

Krystal is originally from Michoacán, Mexico. She graduated with a Psychology Degree from Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio in May 2017. Prior to joining the firm, she had 6 years of experience translating English and Spanish at previous jobs. Since September 2017 she began her career with Abdallah & Spring LPA. She has worked in many industries, as a customer services rep, Lab Tech, New Model Administrator and most recently, before joining the law firm, she worked for 3 years with one of the largest company in Ohio, a company that works with their customers to make the automobiles that contribute to the global economy. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, traveling, working out, and spending time with her loved ones.

Micheal Waddle, Esq.

R. Mike Waddle earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2016 where he focused on criminal law and participated in a specialist “crimmigration” class that focused on how criminal charges in American courts can affect immigration rights. Throughout law school he spent time interning for the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Felony Division as well as clerking for federal and state judges, including Judge David Bunning in the Eastern District of Kentucky and Judge Robert Winkler in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. After earning his law degree, Mike was hired by the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant prosecutor where he prosecuted dozens of cases until he joined the firm in June of 2020. Mike handles cases involving criminal defense, traffic violations, immigration, and personal injury.

Majd “Maige” Alhamza Shisha

Majd “Maige” Alhamza Shisha graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management with a Global Markets concentration from the University of Dayton where she also fulfilled her Master’s Degree in American and Transnational Law with a certificate in Applied Business. Majd graduated as salutatorian of her class from Columbus North International High School in 2015. She joined Abdallah & Spring LPA in December 2019 as a Bilingual Legal Assistant as she is fluent in Arabic and English languages. She is passionate about helping international families and enjoys traveling to new places.

Claudia L. Vendt

Claudia has been a Bilingual Legal Assistant and Spanish Interpreter at Abdallah and Spring since June 2019. She is originally from Tulua, Colombia and is fluent in Spanish and French. She graduated from Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Massachusetts in 2018 and moved to Ohio to continue her education. She is currently earning her B.A. in Diplomacy and Global Politics with Minors in Arabic and Latin American Studies from Miami University, Oxford and will pursue her Juris Doctor after graduation.

Jessica M. Morales

Jessica Morales was born in Meridian, Mississippi. She has lived most of her life in Cincinnati, and part of it in Mexico. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 2016, and has worked since the age of 15. She enjoys helping the Immigrant Community, as both of her parents are immigrants to the United States. She plans to return to school to pursue a degree in Business Administration. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
