Kalisa Mora, JD, Esq

Kalisa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2018 where she graduated Cum Laude. She also received her B.B.A. in Legal Studies and a minor in Pre-Law from the University of Central Oklahoma. While at UC, Kalisa was the President of the Student Bar Association, the Notes and Comments Chair of the UC Law Review, and the President of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Before joining the firm, Kalisa worked as a Motions Specialist at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Kalisa speaks Spanish fluently, and handles cases involving immigration and criminal/traffic defense. She joined the firm in August of 2018.

Ryan H. Pfaff, Esq.

Ryan received his B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies with a minor in Arabic from the University of Toledo in 2013.  He earned his JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2016.  While at UC he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Immigration and Nationality Law Review and the President of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Group.  In 2015, he interned with the Executive Office for Immigration Review at the Cleveland Immigration Court.  Ryan handles cases involving Immigration, Domestic Relations, and Personal Injury.  He has been with the firm since July of 2016.

Maria Rodriguez Alonso

Maria Rodriguez Alonso has been working as a bilingual legal assistant for the law firm since February 2014. She is originally from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She graduated from Lakota West High School in 2007 in West Chester, Ohio. In February 2014, she received an English/Spanish interpretation-training certificate from Affordable Language Services in Blue Ash, Ohio. Maria also volunteers as an English/Spanish interpreter at local schools, hospitals and clinics.

Zainab Alshaikh, BS

Zainab speaks both English and Arabic.  She graduated with her Bachelors in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati in April 2018. While at UC, she was the internal/external vice president for the Saudi Arabian Student Group, where she was responsible for helping new international students with their immigration inquiries and rights. Zainab worked as an intern for the Mayor’s office in Cincinnati City Hall. Prior to joining Abdallah and Spring, Zainab worked for Hilton Worldwide Inc for two years, where her bilingual skills were essentials. She currently works as a bilingual legal assistant and aspires to finish her JD sometime in the near future.

Amy Highfill

Amy began her career at Abdallah & Spring in April 2016.  Amy is a bilingual legal assistant at the Centerville, Ohio office.  She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati in 2012.  Amy also earned a second degree in International Affairs along with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Security Studies from the University of Cincinnati in 2012.  Amy served as the Treasure of Model U.N. at the University of Cincinnati from 2009 through 2012.

Amy is fluent in written and spoken Spanish having previously worked as an interpreter for medical providers.

Through her educational and professional background, Amy is passionate in her support of those in need of legal advocacy, particularity the immigrant community. A graduate from Middletown High School in 2008, she enjoys reading, rock climbing and spending time with her family.

Margaret MacGregor

Margaret “Maggie” MacGregor has been with the law firm since October 2011. She is a Hamilton, Ohio native, and a 2005 graduate of Ross Senior High School. She received her Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio in 2010. In addition to her academic achievements, Maggie studied with the famed comedy theater, The Second City in Chicago, Illinois. In her free time she enjoys performing and writing. Maggie serves as the office manager for the West Chester branch of the law firm and assists with the day-to-day office duties along with various Bankruptcy, Immigration, Civil, Traffic and Criminal matters.

Krystal Moreno

Krystal is originally from Michoacán, Mexico. She graduated with a Psychology Degree from Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio in May 2017. Prior to joining the firm, she had 6 years of experience translating English and Spanish at previous jobs. Since September 2017 she began her career with Abdallah & Spring LPA. She has worked in many industries, as a customer services rep, Lab Tech, New Model Administrator and most recently, before joining the law firm, she worked for 3 years with one of the largest company in Ohio, a company that works with their customers to make the automobiles that contribute to the global economy. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, traveling, working out, and spending time with her loved ones.

Jacqueline Osborn, MA, BA

In May 2018, Jacqueline “Jacki” Osborn graduated Suma Cum Laude with her Masters in Spanish from Bowling Green State University, where she also previously earned her B.A. in Spanish. While studying at BGSU, she completed a thesis on the translation of poetry. She lived abroad in Madrid, Spain for one year. Before joining the firm in October 2018, she taught for a year as a Spanish Graduate Assistant as well as translated for the Language Services Group at her university. Jacki continues to tutor students currently learning Spanish and enjoys learning about different cultures and languages as well. In her free time, Jacki also enjoys yoga and spending time with friends and family.
